We do not subscribe to the snake-oil theory that if it "costs more it must be better". We believe that what is important is to spend money where it matters most, and where it provides a tangible audible benefit.The vast majority of the components we offer are unique in design, hand built by craftsman with minute attention to detail.
Whilst a number of our products are imported from the Far East - we also source for UK manufacturers - creating a unique blend of specialist components that offer exceptional value for money, as well as providing a class leading perfiormance.
We can demonstrate that it is possible to obtain superb results with modestly priced equipment. However what is important is the need to carefully match the component parts of a system together in order to achieve optimum performance.Our SAC SILK Glowmaster KT88 power amplifier, for example works exceptionally well with the HQ Acoustics range of transmission line loudspeakers. These modestly priced components perform well together and deliver a performance comparable to many much higher priced systems.
Our Company has demonstration facilities for a limited range of equipment in Ely, Cambridgeshire, and is hoping to expand this facility by opening a new demo room at Milton, Cambridge in the foreseeable future.
We have a fully equipped workshop where we undertake both product development and repairs to both tube and solid state based equipment. Please note that we only repair and service equipment supplied by us.
On permanent demonstration we have the Revolver Replay turntable fitted with Audio Technica ATOC9ML/II mc cartridge, Aqvox 2 Ci balanced phono preamplifier, Cyrus CD SE /Cyrus PSX, Aqvox DAC, SAC SILK STA522A passive TVC, or YS Audio A2 fully balanced line preamplifier, and HQ Acoustics Inspiration Transmission Line 3 mk 1's.
